Kate, who is recovering from alcoholism, soon discovers that there is something not quite right about Esther. Esther soon forces Max, Kate and John's deaf-mute daughter into her dangerous and disturbing plots.... as the family begins to deteriorate as a result of her distressing and evil personality and John's blindness to see what she is really doing..... Will you spot Esther's secret?
